He was sick all day Christmas and for the whole weekend. He kept complaining about his mouth and gums hurting and finally went to the doctor on Monday after 4 days of eating almost nothing. Sure enough the poor guy has what my girls had. He now has sores all over his lips, inside his mouth, down his esophagus and into his stomach. He has it way worse then even Lila had it and has been in such pain. Our Doctor said that the radiation weakened his immune system so now he is susceptible to everything. He forces himself to eat a couple times a day but so far just pureed soup in the blender and protein shakes. He has been sick for over a week and we are praying that he starts to feel any day now. It has been so sad to see him in such horrible pain, but he is a champ and will hopefully be back to his normal healthy self soon.

Poor Jake
I know I need to post about Christmas and a million other things, but here is what is going on with Jake...Christmas eve we came home from a family party and Jake said he wasn't feeling good. He went to bed right away and had a rough night running a fever on and off and going back and forth between getting the chills and waking up hot and covered in sweat.

Oh man. That stinks. How do they think he got it. The germs couldn't have survived on some surface that long to infect him again could they? I hope he gets better soon. Here is to a much healthier year in 2010 for your family!
