Christmas Time

These are a couple of pictures that we took after church one Sunday.






This Christmas was wonderful. We stayed here in Utah and were able to go to my family Christmas party and spend lots of time with the Barringtons.

This is Launi all ready for the Christmas Eve party at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

The girls got new pajamas on Christmas Eve and we let Lila open a present from my parents. She LOVED the jewelry box and spent the next hour playing with it and the jewelry inside it. So I am pretty lame for not taking more pictures but it was an exciting Christmas Day for us. We learned our lesson about presents for 2 year olds that's for sure. The first thing Lila opened was her stocking and the first thing in her stocking was stickers. She was so happy about those that she didn't want to open anything else. We had to beg her and try to convince her that there were more presents that were even better. So finally she opened the second thing in her stocking, chapstick. She played for the next couple of hours with those two things and it took us forever, probably all day, to get her to open the rest of her presents. Next year she is not getting nearly as many gifts. Whitney and Dustin came over for Christmas dinner and Jake made us some pretty amazing ribs. We had a really wonderful day, having Lila be old enough to get excited about opening presents made the day that much more exciting for Jake and me.
