Lila turned one the day before Thanksgiving so we celebrated it Thanksgiving day since the whole family was already together. I made her a little tiny cupcake since she hadn't really had much sugar up to that point and I didn't want her to go crazy. She didn't really care about the presents but that cupcake was pure Heaven to her, she even licked the plate. She shoved the whole thing in her mouth and then tried to pick up every last crumb. Jake and I cannot believe that she is already 1, it feels like the year just shot by. We are surprised everyday by the new words she says and the new things she does. I know every parent must feel this way, but we feel so blessed to have such an angel for a daughter. Happy Birthday Lila!
