Only 7 Months Behind- oops

I am going to try and recap the last 7 months because it kind of breaks my heart to think of them not being documented anywhere. So instead of tackling it all at once, I am going to go month by month. Here is a quick summary of our July 2011.
-We hung out in our pajamas a lot

-We had lots of picnics in the yard and painted our nails and soaked up the sun

-We went to the Scottish festival where we go every year and we had a fabulous time

-We went to church
-We stayed in a hotel close by for the 4th of July and the girls had the time of their lives. I'm pretty sure they would be happy just about anywhere if they were together, but they LOVED staying in a hotel


-They could not get enough of the indoor pool and got pretty brave

-Elaya taught us the proper way to eat watermelon
-Every member of my family but me slept through the fireworks

-We dressed up like princesses
-Simon slept a whole bunch and often times in his stroller
-We played at parks
-We went to luaus with our cousins (where Lila wins for making the ugliest face ever)

-We swam constantly

-Simon stayed chubby
-Jake and I celebrated our 6th anniversary and Whitney and Dustin refinished our table in cream as you can kind of see in the pic
